While the Mediterranean and Caribbean have the greatest concentration of charter yachts, options exist everywhere from Tahiti and Fiji to Alaska and the Galapagos Islands. Maine, New England, the Bahamas, Southeast Asia, and the Indian Ocean are yet more destinations where our experts can help you book the charter of a lifetime. Below is a sample itinerary for a charter in the Society Islands and French Polynesia, to whet your appetite for exploration.

Day One: Tahiti to Moorea. Board your charter yacht in Tahiti and then cruise away from tourism and into paradise. Arrive at Moorea in time for an afternoon snorkeling adventure with stingrays and reef sharks.

Day Two: Moorea. Spend the day exploring the reefs and colorful fish all around the island. Moorea has great snorkeling and diving. If you want to wander ashore, local shops offer pearls, tropical wraps, and the local monoi.

Day Three: Moorea to Huahine. A tour of a local pearl farm uncovers acres of oysters producing the stuff of fine jewelry around the world. Huahine is also the perfect place for a traditional beach picnic on a spit of sand called a motu.

Day Four: Huahine to Raiatea. On Raiatea, you can explore Mount Temehani Plateau. It is a once-sacred spot that is now accessible on
foot, horseback, or by all-terrain vehicle.

Day Five: Raiatea to Tahaa. More than 80 percent of the vanilla that comes from the Society Islands is grown on Tahaa, and you can
visit the plantations for a tour, a taste, and some delicious souvenirs.

Day Six: Tahaa to Bora Bora. Marvel at the crystal-blue color of the water at Bora Bora, where you can snorkel amid massive coral heads or follow giant manta rays across the lagoon’s open water.

Day Seven: Bora Bora. Enjoy one last trip to the beach before heading to an onshore resort for an extended vacation, or to the island’s airport for your flight home.
